After 11 seasons, Creech retires and hopes to leave behind positive impact

Last night, Lance Creech walked out onto the court of Lynn Farrell arena for his final regular-season home game as head coach for the HC men’s basketball team. Men’s Basketball kicks off season

After a disappointing 2011 season, the HC men’s basketball team has focused and preparing for the beginning of the season since August.

Men aim for consistency in season’s final stretch

The HC men’s basketball team had an up and down January. The Broncos played the heart of their conference schedule through the month.

“January went about like the rest of our season, .500 basketball,” said Lance Creech, head coach. “I know I sound like a broken record and I’m quite sure the team is tired of hearing this but I think we’re a good team, we just aren’t a good team every game.”

HC posted a 4-3 record on the month that included two close wins over Concordia and Doane.

With five games remaining until the GPAC tournament, the Broncos current record is 11-14. [Read more...]
